Letter, 1908 September 11, Lindenshade, Wallingford, Pennsylvania, to Barrett Wendell [manuscript].

In a letter to Barrett Wendell, Wister mentions reading "France" ["The France of Today, 1907"] by Wendell; explains losing a letter Wendell wrote to Dean Agnes Irwin re a Phi Beta Kappa address by Wister's brother, Horace Furness; and asks Wendell to recall his thoughts about the address so that she can relay them to her brother.
